Who we are
This site and the Enough Planner are run by Carl Millerchip trading as Re-Framing Success ("we", "us"). We decide how your personal information is used, which makes us the "controller" under UK data protection law. Contact: hello@reframingsuccess.co.uk or [CARL: postal address].
The short version
- We ask for your email (and, if you like, your first name) to give you access to the planner.
- We'll only email you the newsletter, or about the paid Excel version, if you tick the box for it. You can use the planner without ticking either.
- The figures you type into the planner stay on your device. We never see them.
- We don't sell your information to anyone.
What we collect, and why

The figures you type into the planner
Your income, costs and savings are worked out entirely in your browser. They're saved on your device so the planner remembers them next time, and they're never sent to us. To delete them, tap "Start again" in the planner or clear your browser's site data.
Who else handles your information
We use a small number of trusted services to run this site. They process information only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare: hosting, security and bot protection.
- Kit (kit.com): sending the newsletter, only if you've signed up for it. Kit is based in the USA. Kit says it protects data sent to the USA using the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, backed by standard contractual clauses and the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement in its data processing addendum (see Kit's GDPR information).
How long we keep it
Sign-up records: deleted automatically 2 years after you last signed in. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, after which we keep a minimal record so we don't email you again. Excel launch list: deleted once we've sent the launch email.
Cookies
We set one essential cookie, ep_access, so you don't have to re-enter your email every time you open the planner. It contains a random code and an expiry date, nothing else, and lasts up to 180 days. The planner also uses your browser's local storage to remember your figures on your device. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. To use any of these rights, email hello@reframingsuccess.co.uk. We'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or 0303 123 1113.
